Para compreender a discussão da temática considera-se o uso da teoria de gênero como categoria analítica e histórica, a história das mulheres, e análise sobre o recrutamento das elites políticas.The research aims to map the sociological profile of federal deputies elected in the southeast region of Brazil in 2018, referring to the 56th legislature. The data will be worked in order to problematize the disparity between men and women in the occupation of the seats of the federal legislature.
