Nesse sentido, sustenta-se que os regimes constitucionais que vedem a reeleição para o poder executivo, instituam limites materiais ao poder de reforma, como normas de blindagem constitucional, imunizem o poder judiciário e implementem medidas que potencializem as liberdades de manifestação do pensamento, de informação e de reunião são mais resistentes ao populismo.It identifies the contemporary characterization of populism and the possible forms of resistance to its deleterious effects on democracy and fundamental rights, and its repercussions on changes in institutional design.
