O objetivo principal foi analisar como o candidato Gustavo Petro utilizou a plataforma Twitter durante as eleições presidenciais de 2022 na Colômbia considerando que sua vitória eleitoral faz parte desse movimento de Onda Rosa que significa a ascensão de governos de Esquerda na América Latina. Os objetivos específicos foram examinar quais recursos comunicativos mais esteve presente no discurso de Gustavo Petro no Twitter tais como vídeos, fotos, links, hashtags e retweets, além de identificar quais as principais temáticas ditas por ele a partir da análise de conteúdo escolhida por este trabalho. Por fim, esta pesquisa justifica-se pela busca em contribuir para as áreas de Ciências Humanas e Sociais Aplicadas que estudam os processos eleitorais como o crescimento dos governos progressistas democraticamente. Além disso, tem-se poucos trabalhos científicos sobre o fenômeno da Nova Onda Rosa na América Latina que se caracteriza por esse retorno dos governos de Esquerda ao Poder por eleições presidenciais, somado ao fato da grande dimensão que o fenômeno da "Twittocracia" vem ganhando nos cenários governamentais.It seeks to answer the following question: How was the use of Twitter during the second round of the presidential elections in Colombia in 2022 by the representative of the Left in a scenario of a possible New Pink Wave in Latin America? The main objective was to analyze how the candidate Gustavo Petro used the Twitter platform during the 2022 presidential elections in Colombia considering that his electoral victory is part of this Onda Rosa movement that means the rise of Leftist governments in Latin America. The specific objectives were to examine which communicative resources were most present in Gustavo Petro's speech on Twitter such as videos, photos, links, hashtags, and retweets, in addition to identifying the main themes said by him based on the content analysis chosen for this paper. Finally, this research is justified by the search to contribute to the areas of Applied Human and Social Sciences that study the processes of progressive governments in democracy.
