Para tanto, vale-se da análise dos argumentos apresentados no respectivo acórdão, que se basearam no princípio da segurança jurídica para justificar tanto a manutenção quanto a superação de entendimentos jurisprudenciais sedimentados no Tribunal Superior Eleitoral.It investigates the content of the principle of legal certainty in the electoral field by analyzing the treatment that was given by the Superior Electoral Court to Consultation no. 0601143-68, which asked whether or not candidates remained ineligible after the elections were postponed.
