Mediante pesquisa bibliográfica orientada, pretende traçar uma adequação do arcabouço legal pertinente a esse objeto, frente à segurança jurídica dos cidadãos implicados por esse direito, bem como revela a vontade política de fato dos agentes responsáveis pelo sucesso incontinenti da inovação legal.It intends to analyze the possibility of effecting the right to participate in electoral elections by persons with disabilities under the aspect of Law 13,146, of July 6, 2015, which reconfigured the concept of civil capacity, and its impact on the exercise of political rights of persons with intellectual disabilities.
