O teste realizado compreende o período entre 1997 e 2008 e segue Lockwood & Migali (2009). Os resultados sugerem interação espacial positiva para as despesas de saúde e educação, sendo que em ano eleitoral este aumento médio seja potencializado para os gastos com educação e investimentos. Os resultados sugerem que o aumento de gastos em períodos eleitorais pode ocorrer não de forma absoluta, mas sim em resposta à política fiscal adotada pelos municípios vizinhos, de forma relativa.It tests if there is a spatial interaction on municipal expenditures (health, education and investments) in electoral years. The test is performed using data from 1997 to 2008 as Lockwood & Migali (2009). The results suggest that there is positive spatial interaction between municipalities belonging to the same microregion in health and education expenditures. In electoral years the average increase is potentiated in investments and education expenditures.
