As maiores taxas de voto malufista se encontram hoje nos bairros mais ricos de São Paulo, o que relembra a curva devotação da Arena nos anos 70.In analyzing the results of the mayoral election in the city of São Paulo for 1992 and comparing them to previous elections, the authors note that the expansion of both the pro-Maluf vote and the electoral feasibility of the PT (Workers' Party) have changed the profile of the right wing electorate in this city, in relation to the patterns observed throughout the 1980s.
