Inicialmente se exploran algunos de los malentendidos habituales sobre el voto electrónico para posteriormente revisar las principales críticas y/o dudas que aparecen en las diferentes etapas de implementación del voto electrónico. La conclusión a la que llegamos es que no puede optarse por dicho desarrollo tecnológico creyendo que es una panacea política, sino que su fortaleza estará condicionada por el contexto en el que vaya a aplicarse.It makes a critical approach to e-voting, from different type of doubts that arise about its implementation. Initially it explores some of the common misconceptions about e-voting, and then it reviews the major criticisms and/or doubts that appear at different stages of e-voting's implementation.
