Conclui-se que, embora se recomende a atuação legislativa para definir, pela via normativa, o eventual enquadramento do abuso de poder religioso como infração eleitoral distinta das modalidades típicas abusivas, possivelmente a Justiça Eleitoral, diante da recorrência de casos, poderá moldurar tal prática com base na legislação já vigente.It examines the current controversy about the framing of the abuse of religious power as electoral illicit and the understanding of the subject based on judgments of the highest Electoral Court. The research is based on judgments of the TSE of the latest news.
