Democracia transformada : uma análise dos pressupostos que apontam para uma conjuntura de incertezas

Abstract

Tem como principal escopo a descrição sistemática das principais causas para o atual cenário de crise do regime da democracia representativamoderna. Quais fatores explicamo descrédito das instituições, a ascensão de líderes populistas, a aguda diminuição da participação popular, o distanciamento da representatividade e o engessamento do sistema partidário? Para tentar responder a essas questões, faz-se uma revisão de literatura interdisciplinar à luz de pesquisas contemporâneas que se debruçam sobre essa temática na área do Direito, Ciência Política, Sociologia e Filosofia. Nessa perspectiva, acredita-se que este artigo contribui para o conhecimento do fenômeno multifatorial da crise do Estado Democrático de Direito posto em tela, na medida emque traz à baila discussões recentes sobre as raízes e possíveis saídas para o fortalecimento do regime diante da complexa relação dos interesses em jogo no xadrez político.It has as its main scope the systematic description of the main causes for the current crisis scenario of the modern representative democracy regime. What factors do explain the discredit of institutions, the rise of populist leaders, the sharp decrease in popular participation, the distancing of representation and the cristallization of the party system? In an attempt to answer these questions, an interdisciplinary literature review is carried out in the light of contemporary research that focuses on this theme in the areas of Law, Political Science, Sociology and Philosophy. In this perspective, it is believed that this article contributes to the knowledge of the multifactorial phenomenon of the crisis of the Democratic State of Law put on the screen, insofar as it brings up recent discussions about the roots and possible solutions for the strengthening of the regime in the face of the complex relationship of interests at stake in political chess.
