A presença das mulheres nos estatutos partidários de ontem, de hoje e de amanhã : um levantamento de dados

Abstract

Mesmo no século XXI, a participação das mulheres ainda é muito aquém do necessário para o efetivo exercício de seus direitos e de sua plena cidadania. Dentre os fatores que provocam este desequilíbrio, está o aspecto histórico do voto e da inserção das mulheres na esfera política, bem como o aspecto partidário, que se refere ao modo como os próprios partidos políticos foram introduzindo mulheres em suas listas de membros. Por meio de uma pesquisa documental e bibliográfica, buscou-se, diretamente nos textos dos estatutos dos partidos, uma resposta para este problema. A partir de uma investigação das agremiações políticas extintas desde a época do Império, seguindo para as atuais e a que se encontram em processo de formação e criação, percebeu-se que os termos contidos nos estatutos partidários refletem a histórica resistência às mulheres, que culminou nesta deficitária participação política. Ao final, conclui-se que ainda há um longo caminho a se percorrer, principalmente no que se refere à mentalidade predominante no ambiente partidárioAlthough it is XXI century, the participation in politics of women is still much lower than the necessary to the effective exercise of their rights and their complete citizenship. Between the factors which cause this problem, there is the historical aspect of vote and the insertion of women in the political sphere, including the partisan aspect, connected with the way how the political parties were introducing women in their member lists. Through a documental and bibliographic research, it was aimed to find, directly in the political parties statutes, one answer for this issue. From the extinct parties, to the current in exercise and others in formation and creation process, it could be seen that the terms used in their statutes reflect exactly the historical resistance for the participation of women, what resulted in this unbalanced participation in politics. In the end, it is concluded that still there is a long way to run, mainly in the predominant parties mentality
