Abstract

Analisa a montagem do multipartidarismo no Estado do Espírito Santo, no desfecho do processo de distensão lenta, gradual e irrestrita, implementada ao término do regime militar (1964-1985). A principal hipótese que se que se pretende analisar é a de que, não obstante o processo de restabelecimento do regime democrático e de formação de novos partidos políticos, as elites e máquinas políticas e eleitorais hegemônicas no contexto do Regime Militar transpuseram com êxito as fronteiras e turbulências representadas pelas mudanças institucionais daquele período, mantendo-se nos principais espaços de poder.It analyzes the multiparty assembly in the state of Espírito Santo, in the outcome of the process of the slow, gradual and unrestricted detente, implemented at the end of the military regime (1964-1985). The main hypothesis to be examined is that, despite the process of restoring the democratic regime and the formation of new political parties, elites and hegemonic political and electoral machinery in the context of the military regime implemented successfully borders and turbulence represented by institutional changes that period, keeping in key positions of power.
