A inconstitucionalidade da unificação das eleições : a necessária defesa substancial da democracia

Abstract

Analisa a proposta de Emenda Constitucional que visa unificar as eleições municipais, estaduais e nacional à luz da defesa substancial da Constituição. O que se examina ao longo do texto são os valores constitucionais colocados em risco caso essa proposta seja aprovada pelo Congresso Nacional. O artigo tem como finalidade, ainda, o questionamento dos fundamentos ensejadores da proposta de unificação das eleições.It analyzes the Pproposal for Constitutional Amendment that aims to unify the municipal, state and federal elections by the light of substantial defense of the Constitution. What is examined in the text are the constitutional values at risk if this proposal is approved by Congress. The article also aims to question about the fundamentals that gives rise for the proposed elections unification.
