Como o curso histórico daria razão a Assis Brasil (1858-1938)

Abstract

Faz um paralelo entre a trajetória política de Assis Brasil e a adoção do sistema proporcional, bem como a eventual aplicação da eleição indireta e do voto secreto. Objetiva clarificar determinadas particularidades da carreira do estadista e questionamentos a respeito dos pontos mencionados. Para tal, realiza-se uma prospecção histórica, pautada por pesquisa bibliográfica, levando ao entendimento de que sua origem e princípios conduziram e interferiram nos rumos de sua trajetória.It parallels the political trajectory of Assis Brasil and the adoption of the proportional system, as well as the eventual application of the indirect election and the secret ballot, and is objective to some points of the statesman's career and questions about the mentioned points. For this, a historical research is conducted, guided by bibliographical research, leading to the understanding of its origin and principles led and interfered in the directions of its trajectory.
