O CR-P nas eleições de 1998 para o governo gaúcho : a vitória da contra-hegemonia

Abstract

Apresenta os resultados iniciais da pesquisa sobre as eleições de 1998 no Rio Grande do Sul para o governo do estado. A análise vai ser desenvolvida a partir do conceito de Cenário de Representação Política (CR-P) e da hipótese de agenda setting. A hipótese central do trabalho é a de que alguns meios de comunicação construíram um cenário para garantira vitória do candidato Antônio Britto (PMDB) já no primeiro turno, mas a construção de um outro CR-P, alternativo, levou o candidato Olívio Outra (PT) ao segundo turno e à vitória nas eleições.

It presents the initial results of the research about the elections of 1998. The arialysís will be developed from the concept of Scenery of Polilics Represenlation (CR-P) and from the hypothesis of agenda settíng. The central hypolhesis of this paper is that some means of communication built a scenery to assure the victory of the candidate Antônio Britto (PMDB) in the firsl turn, bui lhe construction of anolher CR-P, alternalive, lead the candidate Olivio Dutra (PT) to the second lurn and to victory of the elections.
