O impeachment de Dilma Rousseff na Câmara dos Deputados

Abstract

Analisa a votação da Câmara dos Deputados que autorizou o processo de abertura de impeachment da presidente Dilma em abril de 2016. A partir de um conjunto de variáveis, realizamos um modelo de regressão logística para averiguar quais delas tiveram efeito para que os deputados votassem sim pelo processo de impedimento. Os resultados indicam que o fator partido político por meio da orientação da liderança, pertencer ao campo da centro-direita e pertencer à bancada evangélica explicam em grande parte a adesão do voto sim. Pelo lado contrário, ser de um estado cujo governador era aliado da presidente e ser de um partido que esteve na coligação presidencial vitoriosa em 2014 estiveram associados negativamente ao voto pelo impedimento. Deste modo, conclui-se que algumas instituições importaram de maneira decisiva ao determinar o fim do mandato da presidente Dilma.It analyzes the vote of the Chamber of Deputies that authorized the process of opening impeachment of President Dilma in April 2016. From a set of variables, we performed a logistic regression model to find out which of them had effect so that the deputies voted yes by the process of impediment. The results indicate that the political party factor through the orientation of the leadership, belonging to the center-right field and belonging to the evangelical group explain in large part the adhesion of the yes vote. On the other hand, being of a state whose governor was ally of the president and being of a party that was in the victorious presidential coalition in 2014 were negatively associated to the vote by the impediment. Thus, it is concluded that some institutions imported decisively in determining the end of President Dilma's term.
