Resumo
Analisa a relação entre informação política e
decisão eleitoral esclarecida através do Estudo Eleitoral Brasileiro de
2002. Assumimos a hipótese de que maiores graus de informação
política possibilitam ao eleitor uma compreensão diferenciada do
contexto político. Nossos dados sugerem que maiores graus de
informação política permitem um comportamento mais coerente e
congruente com a preferência política e ideológica da pessoa.
It analyzes the relationship between political information and electoral decision enlightened through of Brazilian Electoral Study from 2002. We assume the hypothesis that greater degrees of political information allow voters a differentiated understanding of political context. Our data suggest that greater degrees of political information allow a behavior more consistent and congruent with the political and ideological preference of the person.
