Os evangélicos e a política

Abstract

Apresenta uma breve análise da relação existente entre religião e política a partir do fenômeno de inserção dos evangélicos, principalmente pentecostais e neopentecostais, dentro do espaço político brasileiro. Dentre os fatores que atuam nesta relação, receberá especial importância a baixa institucionalização partidária no Brasil, a fraca presença do Estado em diversos segmentos da sociedade, a própria organização das igrejas evangélicas e o menor custo, para os fiéis, em receber informações políticas das igrejas.It presents one brief analysis of the existing relation between religion and politics from the phenomenon of insertion of the evangelicals, mainly Pentecostals and new Pentecostals, inside of the Brazilian political space. Amongst the factors that act in this relation, it will receive special importance the low party institutionalization in Brazil, the weak presence of the State in various segments of the society, the proper organization of the evangelical's churches and the lesser cost, for the faithful, in receive political information's from the churches.
