Ativismo evangélico conservador colombiano nas presidenciais de 2022

Abstract

As eleições presidenciais de 2022 na Colômbia registraram a conjuntura pela que atravessa o ativismo evangélico conservador nesse país, em termos de reacomodação de forças no Estado, e sinalizaram o grau de aderência a repertórios morais nestes comícios, que outrora foram coadjuvantes de processos políticos. O segmento evangélico representa um quinto da população da América Latina e seu ativismo conservador despejou na direita cristã em sua versão neoconservadora. Os capitais político, simbólico e financeiro fazem das maiores lideranças evangélicas agentes com potencial para disputar os comícios eleitorais. Este artigo trata, de forma breve, desse ativismo nas últimas eleições colombianas.The 2022 presidential elections in Colombia registered the conjuncture through which conservative evangelical activism is going through in that country in terms of the reorganization of forces in the State and signaled the degree of adherence to moral repertoires in these rallies, which were once supporting political processes. The evangelical segment represents a fifth of the population of Latin America and its conservative activism has flowed into the Christian right in its neoconservative version. Political, symbolic, and financial capital make the greatest evangelical leader's agents with the potential to contest electoral rallies. This article briefly deals with this activism in the last Colombian elections.
