A gênese e os anos iniciais do Partido Trabalhista Brasileiro (PTB) no Paraná (1945-1948)

Abstract

Foca o processo de redemocratização ocorrido em 1945 no Paraná, sobretudo a gênese e os anos iniciais do Partido Trabalhista Brasileiro paranaense. Dessa forma, procurar-se-á analisar quem eram os membros que integravam a elite partidária petebista nesse período, as disputas internas pelo poder dentro do partido, os motivos que catalisaram as inúmeras dissidências nas hostes petebistas, o desempenho eleitoral do PTB nas eleições de 1945 e 1947 e a sua relação com o governo de Moysés Lupion (1947-1950).It focuses on the process of democratization occurred in 1945 in Paraná, especially the genesis and early years of the Brazilian Labor Party in Paraná. Thus, efforts will be made to analyze who the members that formed the PTB party elite in this period are, the internal power struggles within the party, the motives that have catalyzed the countless hosts dissent, the PTB electoral performance in the elections on the years of 1945 and 1947 and its relationship with the government of Moysés Lupion (1947-1950).
