Abstract

Contribui para a análise da cultura política que se expressa nas ações coletivas dos/as jovens que participam nos movimentos sociais mais recentes. As transformações estruturais da economia mundial e as mudanças na cultura política das sociedades condicionam a relação da juventude com a esfera da política. Neste sentido, ao explorar a prática ativa da cidadania juvenil na era global, recorrendo a vários contributos da investigação sociológica e política, pretende-se contribuir para a reflexão em torno das dificuldades e das potencialidades que os recentes movimentos sociais alternativos apresentam.It contributes to the analysis of the political culture that is expressed within the collective actions of youths engaged in the more recent social movements. The structural transformations of the global economy and the changes in the political culture of society influence youth's relationship with the political sphere. In that sense, by exploring the active practice of youthful citizenship within the global era and taking into account the various contributions of the sociological and political research contributions, it intends to reflect about the potentialities and difficulties that the most recent alternative social movements show.
