Abstract

O ano eleitoral de 2016 foi bastante singular, pois o Brasil vivenciou uma grave crise política, que culminou no impeachment da ex-presidente Dilma Rousseff (PT). A temática, como não poderia deixar de ser, foi pauta diária dos principais veículos de comunicação do País. Este artigo teve como objetivo principal investigar o(s) enquadramento(s) adotado(s) pelo portal Folha de S. Paulo em textos informativos sobre as eleições municipais 2016, publicados no mês de agosto, momento marcado pela votação do impeachment de Dilma Rousseff no Senado e pela crise política nacional.

The electoral year of 2016 was quite singular, as Brazil experienced one of the most serious political crises that culminated in the impeachment of former president Dilma Rousseff (PT - Labor Party). The theme, as it could not fail to be, was daily agenda of the main communication vehicles of the country. The main purpose of these article was to investigate the framework(s) adopted by Folha de S. Paulo's portal in informative texts about the 2016 municipal elections, published in August, a time marked by the impeachment vote of Dilma Rousseff in the Senate and by the national political crisis.
