A esquerda no nevoeiro : trajetórias, desafios e possibilidades

Abstract

Três ciclos se completam neste momento histórico e emprestam à situação política instabilidade e grande opacidade. São o objeto deste artigo. Trata-se do ciclo democratizador iniciado nos anos 1970, daquele relativo ao pt como tendo absoluta hegemonia na esquerda e, por fim, um mais curto, relativo aos governos de Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva e Dilma Rousseff. Seus fechamentos implicam também a passagem a um novo ciclo, ainda indefinido, e uma possível reorganização ampla da esquerda ao mesmo tempo que claramente se mostra o esgotamento do sistema político construído nesse período.Three cycles close at this historical juncture and lend the political situation instability and great opacity. They are the object of this article. They are the democratizing cycle begun in the 1970s, the cycle that had the Workers Party as absolutely hegemonic in the left and, finally, a shorter one, relative to the Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva and Dilma Rousseff governments. Their ends imply also the passage to a new cycle, still undefined, and a possible broad reorganization of the left at the same time that exhaustion of the political system built during this period becomes clear.
