A construção ideológica do modelo totalitário brasileiro : Plínio Salgado, Gustavo Barroso e Miguel Reale (1932-1937)

Abstract

Nos cinco anos de existência legal da Ação Integralista Brasileira (AIB), percebe-se uma grande produção intelectual por parte dos três principais teóricos do movimento: Plínio Salgado, Miguel Reale e Gustavo Barroso. Estas lideranças definiam em suas obras não apenas como seria organizado o Estado sob a égide integralista (Estado Integral), como também a concepção autoritária do Estado dentro de uma lógica corporativa, com partido único, centralizado na figura do Chefe Nacional Plínio Salgado, de viés antiliberal e anticomunista. No presente texto, objetivamos analisar como foi gestada a concepção de Estado Integral por parte das três principais lideranças da AIB (Salgado, Reale e Barroso) a partir da produção teórica e a sua difusão através da estrutura de imprensa periódica montada pelo movimento.

In the five years of legal existence of the Ação Integralista Brasileira (AIB), there is a great intellectual production by the three main theoreticians of the movement: Plínio Salgado, Miguel Reale and Gustavo Barroso. These leaders defined in their works not only how the State would be organized under the integralist aegis (Integral State), but also the authoritarian conception of the State within a corporate logic, with a single party centered on the figure of the National Chief Plínio Salgado, Anti-liberal and anticommunist bias. In the present text, we aim to analyze how the Integral State conception was conceived by the three main AIB leaders (Salgado, Reale and Barroso) from the theoretical production and its diffusion through the periodic press structure set up by the movement.
