Antônio Palocci e o pêndulo do Partido dos Trabalhadores : entre a política e o mercado

Abstract

Examina como o Partido dos Trabalhadores manejou, retoricamente, com o mercado em 2002/2003, momento crucial de sua história, quando foi vencedor, pela primeira vez, de uma eleição presidencial no Brasil. Nos 36 anos de sua trajetória política sob exame (1980-2016), o partido cresceu, profissionalizou-se e logrou vencer eleições nos diversos níveis da federação - municipal, estadual e, por fim, federal. Pondo-se em relevo a hipótese de que, no decorrer de 2002 e início de 2003, o partido equilibrou capital eleitoral e moderação política, pretende-se testá-la examinando-se a Carta ao Povo Brasileiro e o Discurso de Posse do ex-ministro da Fazenda Antônio Palocci.

It examines the way the Workers' Party (Partido dos Trabalhadores) rhetorically managed the Market in 2002/2003, a crucial moment of their history, when they succeeded for the first time in a presidential election in Brazil. Throughout the 36 years of the political trajectory under examination (1980-2016), the party has developed, became more professional, being successful in elections of many spheres in the country - in cities, states, and the federal government. Highlighting the hypothesis that throughout 2002 and the beginning of 2003 the party has balanced electoral capital and political temperance, it is intended to test it by going over the Carta ao Povo Brasileiro and the Inaugural Address of the former Ministry of Finance Antonio Palocci.
