Ensaio sobre a feminização da advocacia nos 90 anos do voto das mulheres brasileiras

Abstract

As carreiras jurídicas, nomeadamente a de advocacia, estão abertas para as mulheres, e a feminização da advocacia é uma realidade. Pela letra da lei, as mulheres juristas têm carreiras iguais às dos homens. No entanto, na prática, existem obstáculos para as mulheres que os homens não precisam superar. Essas singularidades são de diversos tipos, mas funcionam como um "teto de vidro" que dificulta, apesar da lei, o acesso a cargos de topo, tanto nas carreiras da advocacia como na magistratura, assim como ocorre nas lutas por espaços de poder na esfera pública. No contexto dos 90 anos do voto feminino no Brasil, a busca dessas singularidades será o objetivo deste ensaio, que se apoiará numa metodologia hermenêutico-interpretativa, podendo este estudo exploratório abrir caminho para outras investigações relevantes.Legal careers, in particular those in the advocacy sphere, are open to women. The feminization of advocacy is a reality. By the letter of the law, jurist women have careers that are equal to men's. However, in practice there are obstacles for women that men do not have to overcome. Those singularities have many different types, but they work as a "glass ceiling" that makes it difficult, despite the law and beyond it, to access top positions, both in the legal and judiciary careers, as well as in the struggles for spaces of power in the public sphere. In the context of the 90 years of feminine vote in Brazil, the research regarding these singularities will be the objective of this essay, which will be elaborated by a hermeneuticinterpretative methodology. This exploratory study can also pave the way for several investigations that are considered relevant.
