Direita, esquerda, nova direita e o neofascismo brasileiro

Abstract

Parte da constatação da ausência de rigor conceitual na definição do par esquerda-direita, apesar de seu largo uso. Através da avaliação de bibliografia que abarca distintas orientações teóricas e ideológicas, encontra em Lenin um critério consistente para o estabelecimento de parâmetros. Para além do par original, a classificação de "nova direita" também vem sendo amplamente utilizada, igualmente sem contornos nítidos. O trabalho pontua as características que consideramos distintivas da "nova" para a "velha" direita, buscando contribuir para melhor análise do fenômeno. Por fim, propõe a existência de uma vertente específica da "nova" direita, à qual está ligada o bolsonarismo, e defendemos a adequação do termo "neofascista" para esse fenômeno político contemporâneo.It starts from the observation of the lack of conceptual rigor regarding the pair left-right, despite its wide use. Through the evaluation of the bibliography that encompasses different theoretical and ideological orientations, it is finds in Lenin a consistent criteria for the establishment of its parameters can be identified. In addition to that original pair, the article also tackles the "new right" as a classification that is widely used, though without clear contours. The article points out the distinctive characteristics of what can be defined as the "new" and the "old" right, seeking to contribute to the proper analysis of the phenomenon. Finally, it proposes that there is a specific aspect of the "new" right to which "bolsonarism" is linked, and it defends the adequacy of the term "neo-fascist" as a means of referring to the contemporary expression of such political phenomenon.
