O jornalismo político do interior e o seu valor notícia em jornais impressos

Abstract

Objetiva identificar marcas discursivas e estratégias enunciativas que descrevam como se dá o enquadramento da notícia de cobertura política pelos jornais impressos O Regional e Folha de São Borja, em circulação no município de São Borja (RS). A partir de um estudo comparativo por metodologia da Análise do Discurso (AD), foi possível fazermos algumas identificações relativamente a pouca mediação dos meios impressos na arena social política comunitária naquelas localidades. Trabalhamos com a hipótese de que o enquadramento dado pelos jornais à pautas expressamente políticas tem sido superficial, e confere ao campo noticioso e aos leitores muito mais um sentido de normalidade que de mobilização e questionamento, o que seria a função dos jornais. A pergunta de pesquisa é justamente como os jornais efetivam esse enquadramento no sentido da mediação de temas políticos de interesse da comunidade. Trata-se de um levantamento empírico com análise de base teórico metodológica na AD de linha francesa e feita sobre um número representativo de edições desses dois jornais. O estudo caracteriza-se por sua interdisciplinaridade confluindo Teoria do Jornalismo com estudos em Ciência Política e Linguística.It aims to identify discursive marks and enunciated strategies of the news of political coverage by the printed newspapers O Regional and Folha de São Borja, in circulation in the municipality of São Borja, RS State in South Brazil. From a comparative study by Discourse Analysis (AD) methodology some identification was possible on the reduced mediation of the printed media in the social arena of community politics in those localities. We work with the hypothesis that the framing given by the newspapers to expressly political guidelines has been superficial and confer to the news field and to the readers much more a sense of normality than of mobilization and questioning as would be the function of the newspapers. The research question is precisely how newspapers do this framework in the sense of mediation of topics of interest to the community. This is an empirical survey with a theoretical-methodological basis in the French tradition of AD on a representative number of editions of these two newspapers. The study is characterized by its interdisciplinary aspects converging Theory of Journalism with studies in Political Science and Linguistics.
