A história que nos contam : a memória do Judiciário sobre o regime autoritário

Abstract

Analisa as narrativas construídas pelo Poder Judiciário sobre a atuação dessa instituição durante o regime autoritário de 1964-1985. Utiliza fontes primárias, coletadas nos memoriais da justiça comum. Constata que a narrativa oficial não tece considerações sobre a legalidade autoritária, nem sobre a ruptura democrática. Sugere que a memória institucional comunica mais sobre o judiciário na atual democracia brasileira do que sobre o passado.It analyzes the narratives constructed by the judiciary on the performance of this institution during the authoritarian regime of 1964-1985. Uses primary sources, produced by memorials of common justice. Notes that the official narrative reflects on not the authoritarian legality, not on democratic rupture. It suggests that institutional memory communicates more about the judiciary in the current Brazilian democracy than about the past.
