"O certo é saber que o certo é certo" ou "o inferno são os outros" : conflitos (d)e representações em um mundo dividido

Abstract

Tendo como pano de fundo a propalada polarização político-ideológica vigente em nosso país, este dossiê temático tem por objetivo explorar discussões teóricas e etnográficas que enfoquem situações conflitivas sucedidas em diferentes contextos empíricos tanto no Brasil como no exterior. Com a seleção dos seis artigos que o compõem, buscou-se coligir trabalhos que, por meio de múltiplos e variados caminhos, se dedicassem não só à compreensão da natureza dos conflitos, mas também à discussão das suas respectivas formas de manifestação, administração, publicização e/ou (in)visibilização, o que levou os autores a descreverem e a analisarem os processos de produção de representações acerca das disputas em jogo, as estratégias então mobilizadas para se sagrar vencedor, bem como os efeitos práticos e simbólicos que os acompanham enquanto expressão do que se convencionou chamar construção social da realidade.This thematic dossier takes on the political-ideological polarization prevailing in our country as the background. It aims to explore the theoretical and ethnographic discussions that focus on conflictual situations that persist in different empirical contexts, both in Brazil and abroad. With the selection of the six articles that compose it, we sought to gather papers that, through multiple and varied paths, were not only about the understanding of the nature of conflicts, but were also about the discussion of their respective forms of manifestation, administration, publicization and/or (in)visibility. With this perspective, the authors described and analyzed the production processes of representations about the disputes at stake, the strategies mobilized to win over and persist, and the practical and symbolic effects accompanying them, which is no other but the expression of what has been called the social construction of reality.
