Das greves de 1978 à bolsonarização do Brasil : afirmação e negação do sujeito democrático

Abstract

A fim de compreender a "bolsonarização do Brasil", o presente artigo analisa três momentos históricos: as greves metalúrgicas de 1978-1980, a formação do Partido dos Trabalhadores, ligada a essas lutas e a sua atuação nas eleições de 1982, e a derrota eleitoral de Fernando Haddad nas eleições municipais de 2016. O fio condutor é a formação e o enfraquecimento de uma coalizão operária e popular como sujeito democrático. Conclui-se que sua reconstrução é condição para revigoramento da democracia. Como método, o artigo adota a orientação progressiva/regressiva de Henri Lefebvre: partir do problema percebido no presente, estabelecer seu estatuto teórico, investigar sua gênese em um ponto determinado do passado, reconstruir sua historicidade e retornar ao presente compreendendo-o melhor.

In order to understand the "bolsonarization of Brazil", this article analyzes three historical moments: the metallurgical strikes of 1978-1980, the formation of the Workers' Party linked to these struggles and its performance in the 1982 elections and the electoral defeat of Fernando Haddad in the 2016 municipal elections. The guiding thread is the formation and weakening of a workers' and popular coalition as a democratic subject. It is concluded that its reconstruction is a condition for reinvigorating democracy. As a method, the article adopts Henri Lefebvre's progressive / regressive orientation: starting from the problem perceived in the present, establishing its theoretical status, investigating its genesis at a certain point in the past, reconstructing its historicity and returning to the present, understanding it better.
