O engajamento das mulheres no período de redemocratização : possíveis mudanças na agenda política brasileira

Abstract

Observa as ações desempenhadas por mulheres brasileiras durante a ditadura militar, em especial a atuação das mesmas no período de distensão, aqui demarcado pelos cinco anos posteriores à abertura lenta, gradual e segura, iniciada em 1985. A priori, recorre-se a uma contextualização do cenário político de transição, identificando os principais grupos de mulheres e as pautas mais recorrentes levantadas por estes. Em sequência, parte-se para a observação de suas articulações nacionais, por meio de organizações, secretarias e comissões, voltadas para a reorganização e construção de uma agenda política mais igualitária. Com o auxílio de documentos e atas de reuniões disponibilizadas pelo Congresso Nacional, averígua-se, qualitativamente, a representatividade das demandas femininas no espectro político, e como contribuíram na aprovação de leis e melhorias de sua condição. Destarte, ao analisar o engajamento político feminino no período de redemocratização brasileira, depreende-se que o gênero, entendido como uma categoria social, atua na construção política da sociedade.

It observes the actions performed by Brazilian women during the military dictatorship, especially their performance during the period of distension, defined here by the five years after the slow, gradual and safe opening that began in 1985. Foremost, it is realized a contextualization of the transition political landscape, identifying the main groups of women and the most recurrent patterns rose by them. In the sequence, it is observed the national articulations, through organizations, secretariats and commissions, focused on the reorganization and construction of a more egalitarian political agenda. With the aid of documents and minutes of meetings, available at the National Congress website, it is analyzed the representativeness of women's demands on the political spectrum and how it contributes to the approval of laws and improvements to their status. Therefore, with the observation of women's political engagement in the Brazilian re-democratization, it results that gender, understood as a social category, acts in the political construction of a society.
