Abstract

Revive pistas da construção histórica da política Desterrense no século XIX, colocando em evidência as relações entre a presença judaica na ilha do Desterro e a influência da maçonaria na política e na imprensa. Longe de esgotar o assunto, o artigo tem a intenção de expor nos conflitos entre o Partido Judeu e o Partido Cristão as relações de poder expressadas na impressa bipartidária.It revives clues to the historical construction of Desterrense politics in the 19th century, highlighting the relationship between the Jewish presence on the island of Desterro and the influence of Freemasonry on politics and the press. Far from exhausting the subject, the article intends to expose in the conflicts between the Jewish Party and the Christian Party the relations of power expressed in the bipartisan press.
