Mulheres na política : ações afirmativas e os impactos da violência de gênero

Abstract

Tem como finalidade o estudo dos óbices enfrentados pelas mulheres no exercício de seus direitos políticos. Por intermédio de uma abordagem histórico-social, objetiva-se pontuar os elementos que contribuem para o estabelecimento dos papéis de gênero limitadores do acesso das mulheres aos cargos eletivos. Através de pesquisa bibliográfica, almeja-se explorar a necessidade de uma atuação estatal positiva, por meio das ações afirmativas; bem como realizar uma análise da violência política de gênero, retratando-a como fator decisivo no distanciamento da mulher do cenário político. Ante o exposto, tem-se que é necessário ampliar a discussão da representatividade feminina junto a diferentes setores, e que as sanções aplicadas aos agentes segregadores são muito tímidas, o que contribui para a manutenção da hostilidade no ambiente político.The purpose is to study the obstacles faced by women in exercising their political rights. Through a historical-social approach, the objective is to point out the elements that contribute to the establishment of gender roles that limit women's access to elected positions. Through bibliographical research, the aim is to explore the need for positive state action, through affirmative actions; as well as to conduct an analysis of political gender violence, portraying it as a decisive factor in the distancing of women from the political scene. In view of the above, it is necessary to expand the discussion of female representation among different sectors, and that the sanctions applied to segregating agents are very timid, which contributes to the maintenance of hostility in the political environment.
