Uma sobe e puxa a outra : uma perspectiva feminista da participação política da mulher no Brasil

Abstract

A sociedade brasileira e suas instituições, moldadas por um sistema patriarcal e a subrepresentatividade da mulher no espaço de poder político, guiam este trabalho. Desta forma, esta pesquisa se propõe instigar marcadores sociais que impedem ou afastam a mulher do meio político, assim como, retratar, historicamente, a trajetória de conquistas políticas das mulheres brasileiras. Para atingir tal objetivo, foi utilizada referência bibliográfica eminentemente de mulheres que discutem questões como emancipação política das mulheres, representação de gênero, discurso, movimentos feministas, trajetórias políticas, legislação de cotas de gênero e suas fraudes, além da relação entre representatividade de gênero e democracia. Como resultado da pesquisa, pôde se auferir a relação da sub-representatividade feminina na política com o machismo institucional e a necessidade de políticas públicas de inclusão política da categoria, para além das que foram catalogadas neste trabalho, a fim de assegurar que mulheres ocupem tal espaço de poder.

Brazilian society and institutions shaped by a patriarchal system and the subrepresentativeness of women in the space of political power guided this work. In this way, the research proposes to instigate social markers that prevent or distance women from the political environment, as well as portraying, historically, the trajectory of political achievements of Brazilian women. In order to achieve this objective, a bibliographical reference has been used eminently of women, in which problems such as women's political emancipation, gender representation, discourse, feminist movements, political trajectories, gender quota legislation and their frauds, as well as the relationship between representativeness of gender and democracy. As a result of the research, the relationship of female underrepresentation in politics with institutional male chauvinism and the need for public policies for political inclusion of the category beyond those that have been cataloged in this study could be seen in order to ensure that women occupy such space of power.
