Mulher e cidadania : a conquista do voto feminino no Brasil

Abstract

Registra a memória de luta e participação das mulheres no processo histórico nacional, dando ênfase à política institucional, mais precisamente, ao campo do exercício dos direitos políticos. Destacamos, também, a biografia da educadora e médica paulista CARLOTA PEREIRA DE QUEIRÓS (1892-1982), primeira mulher a ser eleita pelo voto popular e a assumir uma cadeira na Assembléia Constituinte de 1933, no Brasil.Record the memory of womens struggle and participation in national history, emphasizing the institutional policy, specifically in the field of political rights. We highlight also the biography of the educator and medical CARLOTA PEREIRA DE QUEIROZ (1892-1982), the first woman to be elected by popular vote to take a seat in the Constituent Assembly of 1933, in Brazil.
