A influência do patriarcado na baixa representação das mulheres no Congresso Nacional

Abstract

Através de análise do nível de atuação feminina dentro do poder Legislativo brasileiro, bem como da estrutura patriarcal como formuladora de valores e concepções da sociedade na qual vivemos, este artigo tem como objetivo compreender de que maneira o patriarcado é capaz de influenciar na baixa representatividade das mulheres no Congresso nacional. Foram utilizados livros, artigos acadêmicos, dissertações e dados estatísticos como principais fontes de informação para a realização deste trabalho, que aponta para a necessidade de políticas afirmativas efetivas, bem como uma reforma política que tenha como principal objetivo a inclusão de minorias sociais e/ou numéricas, para que o espaço político brasileiro seja de fato um ambiente plural e inclusivoThrough analysis of the level of female within the Legislative Brazilian power, as well as the patriarchal structure as values policymakers and conceptions of society in which we live, this Article aims to understand in what way the patriarchy is capable of influencing the low representation of women in the national Congress. Using academic books, articles, dissertations and statistical data as the main sources of information for the completion of this work, which points to the need for affirmative policies effective, as well as a political reform that has as main objective of inclusion of social minorities and/or numeric, for which the Brazilian political space is in fact a plural and inclusive environment.
