Analisa os sistemas eleitorais como arranjos políticos da
democracia representativa, inserindo-os no contexto do atual debate
sobre a reforma política no Brasil. Os sistemas eleitorais constituem
o conjunto de regras jurídico-políticas necessárias ao exercício da
democracia e para a escolha daqueles que exercerão, em nome do
povo, o poder político.
It analyzes the electoral systems and political arrangements of representative democracy by entering them in the context of the current debate on political reform in Brazil. Electoral systems are the set of legal and political rules necessary for the exercise of democracy and for the choice of those who carry out, on behalf of the people, political power.
