Abstract

Apresenta, brevemente, a regulamentação do sufrágio feminino no Brasil. Para tanto, apresenta a evolução histórica da regulamentação do sufrágio feminino, bem como o marco histórico que deflagrou referido direito no ordenamento jurídico brasileiro, cujo nascimento ocorreu no Código Eleitoral de 1932. Recorrendo a uma variedade de fontes doutrinárias e legislativas que tratam do assunto, a atenção se centra no exame das razões que levaram a regulamentação do voto feminino no Código Eleitoral de 1932, bem como a evolução histórica da luta feminina para conquista de referido direito.It presents, briefly, regulation of women's suffrage in Brazil. To this end, this essay presents the historical evolution of the regulation of women's suffrage, as well as the historical milestone that triggered this law in the Brazilian legal system, whose birth occurred in the Electoral Code of 1932. Using a variety of doctrinal and legislative sources dealing with the issue, attention focuses on examining the reasons that led to the regulation of the women's vote in the 1932 Electoral Code, as well as the historical evolution of the women's struggle to conquer that right.
