Participação política da população LGBTI+ e processo eleitoral

Abstract

Apresenta os resultados alcançados na forma de propostas de políticas públicas a partir do trabalho apresentado pelos pesquisadores durante os debates e assembleias realizados no Subgrupo de Participação Política da População LGBTI+ no processo de Sistematização das Normas Eleitorais (SNE) 2021 do Tribunal Superior Eleitoral (TSE). Para tanto, foram realizadas duas audiências com as principais organizações de representatividade da sociedade civil no Brasil que trabalham com a temática de identidade de gênero e orientações afetivo-sexuais. Com base nos debates internos, foram sistematizadas as relações entre as normas eleitorais vigentes e os direitos políticos relacionados à população LGBTI+.It presents the results achieved in the form of public policy proposals, from the work carried out by the researchers during the debates and assemblies held in the Political Participation of the LGBTI+ Population Subgroup in the Systematization of Electoral Rules (2021) process of the Superior Electoral Court (TSE, in portuguese). To this end, two hearings were held with the main organizations representing civil society in Brazil that work with the theme of gender identities and affective-sexual orientations. From internal debates, the relationships between the current electoral rules and the political rights related to the LGBTI+ population were organized.
