coletivas.
It will focus on mapping collective candidacies that requested registration with the TSE in the last general elections. Its objective is to outline, as much as possible, a predominant profile of these candidacies and measure the electoral relevance of the collective for the Political Party or Federation to which it was linked in the electoral competition for positions subject to the logic of the Proportional Representation System. The goal is to understand if the number of nominal votes for the collective contributed to the elections of the highest number of candidates from that political party. The mapping consisted of four stages and was supported by the official TSE database and the research titled "Profile of Power in the 2022 Elections," conducted by the Institute of Socioeconomic Studies. A total of 222 collective candidacies were found distributed throughout the country, with the Northern Region having the highest number of registration requests, totaling 74 distributed across 9 states. In terms of states, São Paulo had the highest number of collective candidacy registration requests, representing more than 21% of the total. The position with the highest number of requests was that of State Deputy, followed by Federal Deputy, District Deputy, and Senator. It was also noted that the collectives in 2022 were mostly affiliated with Left-leaning Ideological Parties, with a notable presence of the PSOL. Finally, the results showed that 59 candidacies used some term in their nickname that identified a political minority. Among these, women and the defense of their rights were referenced in 34 collective candidacies.
