Participación política de las mujeres : una perspectiva de género en el marco de la democracia

Abstract

Realiza un análisis sobre la forma de participación política de la mujer en América Latina. A través de la historia la mujer ha ganado derechos como el del voto o sufragio, a partir de las múltiples revoluciones y manifestaciones que organizaciones feministas han desarrollado, las cuales tuvieron inicio con la primera ola desarrollada en el Reino Unido y Estados Unidos durante el siglo XIX y principios del siglo XX. En este sentido, se aborda la participación política de la mujer en América Latina, especialmente en los países miembros y Estados asociados a Mercosur.

It analyzes the way of women participation about the political in Latin America. The women throughout history have gained rights such as voting or suffrage, but always start from the multiple revolutions and demonstrations that feminist organizations that began with the first wave, which took place in the United Kingdom and the United States United during the 19th and early 20th centuries. In this sense, it addresses the political participation of women in Latin America, especially in member countries and states associated with Mercosur.
