The election process from 1 July two thousand and twelve in Mexico, recorded a series of events that express political pluralism and the polarization that exists in contemporary electoral contests in Latin America. We have to rethink the form and content of background that feed strategies of political communication, in order to identify the close relationship between electoral behavior with the construction of political culture. There is a need to reflect the competition electoral in terms of electopartidismo, partisan competitiveness relating to electoral participation and in shaping the political imagination that transcends by means of communication to weave the fabric institutional, symbolic, cultural and economic that sustain the current political system, the idea of creating public spaces participatory and consistent with national and international reality now faced by countries in the region.
