Performance feminina na arena eleitoral

Abstract

Trata das candidaturas femininas nas eleições municipais e da ocorrência de fraudes eleitorais com vistas a atender ao critério de reserva de vagas, fundamentando-se a análise nos resultados das eleições municipais de 2012 no estado do Piauí, especialmente no que diz respeito ao cargo de vereador. A pesquisa utiliza o método indutivo e, com base na análise de caso específico, conclui que a participação feminina precisa ser reformulada com auxílio de partidos políticos, de órgãos de representação locais e, em especial, das próprias mulheres.It presents women's candidacies in municipal elections and the occurrence of electoral fraud in order to meet the vacancy reserve criterion, based on the analysis of the results of the 2012 municipal elections in the state of Piauí, especially with regard to the position of councilman. The research uses the inductive method and, based on the analysis of the specific case, concludes that the participation of women needs to be reformulated with the help of political parties, local representation bodies, and especially women themselves.
