A inflexão zapatista : o Congresso Nacional Indígena e a candidatura presidencial em 2018

Abstract

Discute o anúncio de apoio do Exército Zapatista de Libertação Nacional (EZLN) à proposta de candidatura para as eleições presidenciais mexicanas de 2018 do Congresso Nacional Indígena. A partir da análise de 31 comunicados do EZLN, iniciando com o anúncio da candidatura e subsequentes documentos do CNI, são discutidas questões centrais para a análise desse movimento social, ativo desde 1994, como a relação do movimento com o Estado e a escolha da candidatura de uma mulher indígena. Ademais, são abordadas as interpretações mais usuais sobre o projeto zapatista e suas construções políticas.It discusses the announcement of support by the Zapatista Army of National Liberation (EZLN) to the Mexican presidential elections of 2018 by the Congreso Nacional Indigena (CNI). Drawing from the analysis of 31 speeches of EZLN, initiated with the announcement of the candidature and following CNI documents, it discusses central issues for the analysis of this social movement, active since 1994, like the relationship of this movement with the State and the choice of an indigenous woman as their candidate. Additionally, it discusses usual interpretations on the zapatista project and their political constructions.
