Comunicação política nas mídias legislativas : contradições e possibilidades de ação nos veículos da Câmara dos Deputados

Abstract

Reflete sobre a dimensão de comunicação política realizada pelas mídias legislativas da Câmara dos Deputados brasileira. As tensões entre jornalistas e parlamentares e a disputa entre esses atores políticos pela definição das regras de funcionamento dessas mídias são aspectos essenciais da análise, realizada a partir da coleta de opiniões dos dois grupos. Os depoimentos de parlamentares explicitam a perspectiva de que os veículos da Câmara devem contribuir para a comunicação do parlamentar com seus eleitores. Já as entrevistas com os profissionais revelam que eles não concordam com o argumento de que a função dos veículos se limita a realizar a comunicação política dos deputados.It reflects about the dimension of political communication held by legislative media of Brazilian Chamber of Deputies. Tensions between journalists and parliamentarians and the dispute between those political actors by defining rules of operation of these media are essential aspects of analysis, performed from the recollection of opinions of the two groups. The testimonials of parliamentarians make explicit the prospect that the vehicles of the Chamber must contribute to parliamentary communications with their constituents. By the other side, the interviews with professionals reveal that they do not agree with the argument that the function of the vehicles is limited to perform the political communication of the representatives.
