Democracia e voto : instrumentos de efetivação do direito fundamental da soberania popular

Abstract

Propõe a debater o instituto do voto e seu exercício em face do princípio da soberania popular, bem como ser o mesmo o principal instrumento de legitimação do regime democrático. Para tanto, analisa o direito ao voto - sufrágio -, e os diferentes sistemas eleitorais em que este é exercido.It purports to discuss voting and the exercise of the right of ballot vis-à-vis the principle of popular sovereignty, as well as it being the most important too of legitimacy of the democratic regime. In order to do that, this article analyses the right of franchise - suffrage - , and the different electoral systems in witch it is exercised.
