O processo político na formação territorial estado do Paraná - Brasil

Abstract

Tem como objetivo analisar a formação política, econômica e territorial do Estado do Paraná, compreendendo o território como uma construção histórica resultante da articulação entre decisões políticas, interesses econômicos e dinâmicas espaciais. Parte-se do entendimento de que a configuração territorial paranaense não ocorreu de forma homogênea, mas foi condicionada por contextos históricos específicos, pela atuação do Estado e de diferentes agentes e atores políticos e econômicos, bem como pela inserção do Paraná em circuitos produtivos regionais, nacionais e internacionais. A emancipação política de 1853 é considerada um marco fundamental para a consolidação administrativa do estado e para a implementação de projetos voltados à ocupação, integração e controle do território. A análise privilegia uma abordagem da Geografia Política e da Geografia Histórica, examinando as relações de poder que orientaram a ocupação do espaço paranaense e contribuíram para a formação de desigualdades regionais. Dessa forma, busca-se compreender como economia, política e território se articularam na construção do espaço paranaense. Metodologicamente, a pesquisa baseiase em revisão bibliográfica, documental e histórica, com leituras sistemáticas de obras relevantes sobre a temática. A elaboração de mapas foi fundamental para a delimitação do recorte espacial e temporal da análise. Além disso, foram utilizados dados estatísticos e secundários provenientes de instituições como IBGE, IPARDES, Sindicato Rural do Paraná, prefeituras paranaenses e acervos da Biblioteca Nacional, contribuindo para uma compreensão aprofundada das interações entre sociedade e espaço no contexto paranaense.It aims to analyze the political, economic, and territorial formation of the State of Paraná, understanding territory as a historical construction resulting from the articulation of political decisions, economic interests, and spatial dynamics. It is based on the assumption that Paraná's territorial configuration did not occur in a homogeneous manner, but was shaped by specific historical contexts, the action of the State, and the role of different political and economic agents and actors, as well as by Paraná's insertion into regional, national, and international productive circuits. The political emancipation of 1853 is considered a fundamental milestone for the administrative consolidation of the state and for the implementation of projects aimed at territorial occupation, integration, and control. The analysis privileges an approach grounded in Political Geography and Historical Geography, examining the power relations that guided the occupation of Paraná's territory and contributed to the formation of regional inequalities. In this sense, the study seeks to understand how economy, politics, and territory were articulated in the construction of Paraná's spatial structure. Methodologically, the research is based on bibliographical, documentary, and historical review, involving systematic readings of works relevant to the subject. The production of maps was essential for delimiting the spatial and temporal scope of the analysis. In addition, statistical and secondary data from institutions such IBGE, IPARDES, Sindicado Rural do Paraná, municipal governments, and collections from the National Library were used, contributing to a deeper understanding of the interactions between society and space in the Paraná context.
