Guiné-Bissau e suas fragilidades político-institucionais pós-independência

Abstract

Analisa as razões pelas quais a Guiné-Bissau é reconhecida pelo seu status de Estado frágil. Desde que se tornou independente, em 1973, o país já enfrentou enormes desafios com vistas a sua consolidação e a sua organização sociopolítica. Assistiu-se a sucessivas subversões da ordem constitucional e levantes armados, que acabaram por colocar o país num dos estados mais frágeis em termos de governança. Ao longo deste trabalho vamos trazer uma narração dos acontecimentos que marcaram a história deste país situado na costa da África, que contará com a contextualização sócio-política e histórica que marcaram a Guiné-Bissau nos últimos anos. Serviu-se da revisão bibliográfica por meio de pesquisa exploratória, usando livros e artigos sobre o tema. Espera-se que o trabalho traga contribuições que possam servir como um dos mecanismos para compreender melhor os desafios políticos institucionais da Guiné-Bissau pós-independência.It dedicated to analyzing the reasons why Guinea-Bissau is recognized for its status as a fragile state. Since becoming independent in 1973, the country has faced enormous challenges with a view to its consolidation and socio-political organization. There were successive subversions of the constitutional order and armed uprisings, which ended up placing the country in one of the most fragile states in terms of governance. Throughout this work we will provide a narration of the events that marked the history of this country located on the coast of Africa, which will include the socio-political and historical contextualization that has marked Guinea-Bissau in recent years. Qualitative methodology was used through exploratory research, using books and articles on the topic. It is expected that the work will bring contributions that can serve as one of the mechanisms to better understand the institutional political challenges of post-independence Guinea-Bissau.
