Sub-representatividade feminina e cota de gênero na política : uma análise crítica

Abstract

Analisa o problema da sub-representatividade feminina na política brasileira, sob uma ótica de abordagem qualitativa e metodologia descritiva, analisando a evolução do assunto, desde a instituição do direito de voto das mulheres, até o momento atual, em que a ação afirmativa constituída na cota de gênero existe, porém, ainda não produz os efeitos esperados. Aborda-se ainda a tentativa de fraude à cota, suas consequências perante a legislação e os Tribunais Eleitorais, apontando-se a necessidade de rigor na apreciação judicial do tema, para coibir tais fraudes e permitir que a plena democracia seja atingida, com a participação plena das mulheres nos espaços de poder, em benefício de toda a sociedade.It analyzes the problem of female underrepresentation in Brazilian politics, from the perspective of a qualitative approach and descriptive methodology, analyzing the evolution of the subject, from the institution of women's right to vote, to the present moment, in which the affirmative action constituted in the gender quota exists, however, it still does not produce the expected effects. It also addresses the attempted fraud to the quota, its consequences before the legislation and the Electoral Courts, pointing out the need for rigor in the judicial assessment of the subject, to curb such fraud and allow full democracy to be achieved, with the participation of women in areas of power, for the benefit of all society.
